Meet the Team

Known by many as ‘Carman’, Brion Holland, a Bowling Green KY native and WKU grad, has been a licensed real estate agent since 1977.  During those more than forty years he has participated in hundreds of real estate transactions, both residential and commercial, always keeping his client’s best interest as his main concern.  In 2018 Brion completed the eighty hours of required education and testing to earn his apprentice auctioneers license.  He has served out his one year apprenticeship and will be recognized as a licensed Principal Auctioneer in the Fall of 2020.

In late 2019 Brion and his wife Lisa purchased KW First Choice Auctions, LLC in order to better serve the needs of clients wanting full auction and real estate services.  Using his knowledge, skill, the latest technology, and just ‘plain old fashioned hard work’ Brion Holland will deliver a successful real estate transaction, whether it’s by auction, private sale, or traditional listing.

A native of the Smiths Grove area of Warren County KY and WKU grad, Charles has a wealth of experience in the real estate and auction profession.  After fifteen years in the retail and wholesale hardware industry, he earned his real estate license in 2003, his apprentice auctioneers license in 2004, and his Principal Auctioneer license in 2006.  That was also the year he was first hired as Executive Director of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association, Inc, a position he held for some five years.

During those years he continued to work with some of the best auction companies in the area, primarily in marketing and auction management.  In 2011, utilizing the latest technology, he produced the first online auction held by any auction firm in the region.  During the next seven years with that firm, he would manage the sale of hundreds of lots of personal property, consisting of everything from a sugar bowl to a bulldozer.  In addition, dozens of parcels of real estate were sold using the live and online auction method of marketing, including a $7,000,000 transaction.

In 2016, he and his wife Debbie, also an auctioneer, moved to Keller Williams First Choice Realty to serve as the auction team for the company until mid 2018 when they started First Choice Auctions.  Along the way, he earned his Certified Estate Specialist (CES) designation from the National Auctioneers Association.  Charles was once again called on by the Kentucky Auctioneers Association in late 2018 to return as Interim Executive Director.  With the new company flourishing, they hand-picked the perfect new owner, Thad Himmelbrand, who continues to provide outstanding auction services today.

Brion Holland sought out Charles and Debbie to assist with his new purchase, KW First Choice Auctions.  Charles uses his marketing skills and bid calling to assure that KW First Choice Auctions is providing every tool necessary to get the highest price possible for any properties offered at auction.
